Have you ever found yourself in a situation where you knew that God was calling you out to do something that you had never taken interest in before, nor did you ever think that you would have a desire for it or equipped for it? Our guests today share their story of how they found themselves in a place they never imagined possible. Join us today as Troy & Casie Haight of One Step in Faith share with us Part 1 of their journey of loss, sorrow, grace, restoration, and hope. Learn what prompted this couple to take this gigantic step of faith to leave family and friends and the known First World comforts for unseen treasures in Africa. From not wanting to go at all, to calling this place home, Troy and Casie have held on to what God has promised them even when life met them with struggles. This sweet, humble couple answered a simple call and ended up starting an organization. One Step In Faith is a non-profit organization “which establishes local relationships, as well as alliances with other organizations in order to rescue, rehabilitate, and restore hope and opportunity to trafficked, at-risk, and spirit children.” In Summary, One Step in Faith’s heartbeat is for restoring hope & rescuing kids.
Follow them at onestepinfaith.org or on Facebook. Troy & Casie shared a big need with us, which is prayer partners for the kids. The goal is for each child to have a team of prayer warriors (2 or more people) who will commit to praying for that child and any specific needs they may have. Currently, the need is for 5 more teams. To learn more about being a prayer partner, send them an email with “Prayer partner interest” in the subject line.
If something from their story resonates with you, please share it here with us. We would love to hear about it.
