It’s Not Just a Story—It’s History That Changes Everything
We’ve all heard it:
“The greatest story ever told.”
It’s been used to describe God’s creation, humanity’s fall, and His redemption through Jesus.
But here’s the truth:
The resurrection of Jesus isn’t just a story.
It’s not a myth. Not folklore.
It’s a real, historical event that happened over 2,000 years ago.
And when we call it a “story,” even unintentionally, we risk making it feel symbolic or optional—something to revisit once a year and then set back on the shelf.
But this wasn’t fiction.
This was God stepping into our broken world, dying a brutal death, and defeating the grave—so that we could live free and whole.
History Backs It Up
Still wondering if it’s really true? History says yes.
Tacitus, a Roman historian, wrote about Jesus’ crucifixion.
Josephus, a Jewish historian, documented Jesus’ life, death, and reports of Him alive again.
The early church exploded—not from a made-up tale, but from eyewitnesses who saw the risen Christ and gave their lives for that truth.
People don’t die for what they know is a lie.
Why This Matters
When we view the resurrection as truth—not just a beautiful narrative—it changes how we live.
Because Jesus is alive:
Your mindset can shift.
Your identity can be restored.
Your calling can be reignited.
This is what the TEA of Life Podcast is all about: helping you Transform Every Area of Life—and that transformation begins with Jesus!
So let’s stop calling it just a story.
Let’s start living like it really happened.
Because it did—and that changes everything.
